    Cornelius Kegging

the cost of the canasters, also lazy, would rather just mail-order them to the house. I was looking more at the 3 gallon ones, in which I can get rid of it in a day at my house, but only like a few days a year, or even for camping where I would drink it over 2 days with a bunch of friends...

    Cornelius Kegging

I see your point, I could go through 5 gallons in a night a few times a year with no problem, I just did not want to bother with the CO2.... hmm maybe those little keg's they are like a gallon or so and can use the small CO2 cartridges.

    Cornelius Kegging

Anyone know if I can just buy a normal type of hand pump for these kegs, I found one on the web and only one........ normal type tap like on the commercial kegs....... I don't want to force carbonate and I don't want to bother with the CO2'z

    Gotten any cool equipment lately?

1/2" auto siphon racking cane......... so much faster and easier to transfer the beer around also use a turkey thermometer has the round face with the stick out the back...... just drilled a small hole in the cover of my brew pot and it just sits there on the cover nicely.......

    Clarifying brew kit beer

I use the Irish Moss, secondary fermentor and when going to move the beer to the bottling bucket I move the fermentor a few hours before so that anything that was stirred up will re-settle and then use a racking cane.....

    Bottle Conditioning

this is very easy........... AS LONG AS POSSIBLE! I have yet to drink a young beer thats is better than an aged one..... my only problem is wanting to drink them now...... if you can hold out they will taste better :D

    Extract: dry vs liquid

The only diff I have found is that with the liquid it burns on the bottom of my pot, the dried just floats till it desolves unlike the liquid that sinks. Also try liquid yeast especially if you don't think you are getting a full fermentation. :)

Bottles of Beer Lay on side in Fridge?

I would not worry about laying them to make them cold, once refriderated they are no longer conditioning anymore. I try to stand them up so that I can see how clear the beer is when poured out, and the yeast help reduce hangovers so its pretty good to drink up the vitamin B
