I have a buddy who drinks Guinness because its part of his heritage... I don't think he really likes it all that because of the faces he makes while drinking it. I also do not believe he is Irish and I heard somewhere that Guinness is brewed in England?

Anyone mention if your buddy might have a little IBS or Celiac Disease? I have met some gluten free brewers who have to make beer because of Celiac. They might have a slight irritation to gluten or yeast. My vote goes to something they ate as well.

Thats a great idea. What kind of beer are you adding it to? I just had a Jasmine IPA from the elysian brewery here in Seattle. It was fantastic and not overdone. I am thinking drying it like they do with leaf hops.

Added 6 lbs. Fresh frozen strawberries after 8 days and let it sit for another 7 days, just carbed up today and its already a hit! Split the batch with my buddy and he is already half way through his 5 gallon's and wants to add blueberries next time. :)

Definitly visit maui brewing co up in Lahaina. I think thats it for the local craft industry. Coconut porter is my absolute favorite!

$8 at airgas in my area. :) I went to a family owned local place and they charged me $12 plus a hazmat fee... I dont think CO2 warrants a hazmat fee.
