Well FexEx and Beverage Factory are on my s**t list atm... ordered 2 perlick taps, and a duel keg system with reg and 5 lb bottle... get home and beverage Factory only shipped one of the kegs and FedEx lost the box with the perlicks in it...awsome...

i picked a couple up the day the thread came out and mine were shipped the next day...

well looks like my makeshift starter worked out just fine. Finished at 11 last night...my boy woke me up at 4 and the airlock was already bubbling. Now its bubbling roughly once a second. i did order my self a flask for my next batch tho...

thanks for the quick reply...i was not wanting to risk it was just wondering if some how the lid would make for even less chance of contamination... but it appears that is not so...foil it is!

So im making my first starter in a couple hours for my brew tomorrow night. The can i am making the starter in has a screw on top. Would i be better off using the top and poking a few very small holes in it or just covering the top in foil and be done with it? i dont have any type of flask...
