I think Pivot is on to something here.

These days I always cover my carboys with a tshirt just because I have a t-shirt, so why wouldnt i right? but i have left them out before without a t-shirt on them or anything in the past, and while they were never in direct sunlight, i have never had what i could concieve to be a skunking problem

I still dont even have proper equipment to bottle with. Ill take it off your hands if you dont want it :D my home brew store guy told me to pour it into the bottle with a pitcher..

I can totally relate, it was a hell of a time for me to find the nearest homebrew store for me to frequent.
