    Free NewCastle Schooner Glass

    Just got my 2 glasses in the mail today. I sent away the virtual caps one with my name and one with the wifes name and they sent both glasses to the same address. They have etched stars at the bottom of the glass to release the CO2. Not bad for free.

    Dry hopping with pellets?

    There are a lot of hop varieties I can't find in whole hop form. At my LHBS they only carry both whole and pellet hops in the most common varieties (ie cascade). Even shopping online your choices are limited if you will only use whole hops.

    Barleywine emergency

    I had to put off pitching yeast untill the following morning on the last beer I made... it turned out fine (after a 12 hour wait). Seal it up in something clean and wait to get the correct yeast.

    If you used bleach you need to rinse the bottles very well before using them. A very small amount of bleach can go a long way.
