Today Sat. 9th of Jan is first day of fermentation. the yeast is going crazy and bubbling up through my air-lock. Is it ok or should I run a hose out of it ???
I have a belgian ale yeast wlp550 that says ." Best before date is 4 months after bottling." I wanted to brew tommorrow.Nov. 19. Yeast expires on the 21st . Is it still worthy of using ???
I cleaned and sterilized all my equipment and my bottlecaps .
I should have waited to do the bottlecaps i think. Anyway , I put the caps in a freezerbag thinking it will keep them sterile through my fermenting. Was that a good idea??
