Feedback on my "steamed" pilsner U

Alright this is my first recipe that I have ever pieced together so if there is anything completely out of whack with this just let me know. It's a mini-mash recipe. 8 oz. Belgium Pilsen Malt 8 oz. German Pilsen Malt 4 0z. Munich Malt 5 lbs. Extra light DME 4 oz. Saaz hops (whole)...

Idea, tell me what you think.

I have two brews under my belt so far, but have not had a chance to get started on another one for a couple months. Now is definately the time to make my third. My first two were basic, straight forward brews (english pale ale and a standard porter). I was very pleased with both of these beers...

    Naturally carbonated, what?

I was at a buddy's house last night. He's the kind of guy who drink Bush Light and he was last night. So, I had one with him and when I was looking at the can I noticed they had a logo that said: "Naturally fermented, Naturally Carbonated" How can they say that?

How to tell if is yeast is dead?

When I got my ingedients for my second batch it was during that wicked heat wave. I got the liquid yeast with a couple of ice packs. Of course it was so hot that I'm sure the ice packs didn't make much of a difference and when the yeast arrived it was quite hot so I put it in the fridge...

    2nd Batch....you decide.

Alright, so I'm planning on doing my second batch a couple of weeks from now. By then the first one should be more than half way through it's secondary. (I'm doing the 1-2-3 method). I'm going to be ordering my bottles towards the end of this coming week and that's when I'll order my second...

    Fuller's London Porter Clone?

Any body have a recipe or know where I can buy a kit. I really want it to be as smooth as Fuller's is. Keep in mind that this will be my second brew, so you might want to dumb down the recipe a bit. :)

Brewed my first batch last night!

Well, everything went pretty smoothly. Only had one minor boil over, other than that no problems.:mug: My hydrometer broke in the mail, but I'm not too concerned. The fermenter is in my room and is sitting at about 68 degrees. I had airlock activity when I woke up in the morning and I'm...

    Just ordered my kit

Hi duders, After reading about home brewing for a while I finally decided to just go ahead and jump into this crazy nonsense and order a kit. I got it from leeners cause that is one of the first sites I really studied when I was beginning to get interested...
