    Caster question

They should be fine. I'm guessing 200 lbs for the stand and about 100 lbs for the kegs, plus the mash and hlt full. You'll be right at capacity

Anyone tried this paint for brew rig?

New Brew stand, need burner help

You might also look at Flame Proof Header Paint at the auto parts store.. NOT Engine Block Paint. I used the header paint on my rig. It looks good and its holding up 100x better than I thought it would. It does have to be cured like the barbaque paint. I have a kerosene jet heater that I...

Spray painting my brew cart. Need help

I had a similar issue when painting my rig. I painted mine with flame proof paint made for headers and I had to cure it. After the paint was applied I used a kerosene jet heater to get the temp of the metal as hot as I could. Once I did that the paint didn't rub off and is very durable.

    Cooler Fermentation Temps

I have to share how well the "wet towel method" works for keeping fermentation temps down. I had been looking for a way to keep my temps down a little from room temp when brewing an Irish Red or Dunkelweizen. After searching I found the "wet towel method" I placed my carboy in an old boil...

Flame Control for a low pressure propane setup

I use 1/2" gas ball valves on my rig and they work fine for controling my burners. I use low pressure propane jet burners, the same ones Lonny uses. If you need to control the flame on a pilot light I would use needle valves (its the only thing I would change on my rig).
