Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

I will look at Wegmans and if they don't have it I will check Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm glad I only have 25 or so bottles to work on.

Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

Thanks for the advice. How will long term storage in the fridge affect the aging process? That pump might do the trick. Ever see it in any retail stores where I might pick it up?

Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

That is probably where I messed up. I did degass after I racked the first time but not again after that. So if that is what I need to do to fix this do I need to dump it out and pour it back into a bottling bucket, degass, and then rebottle?

Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

So will refrigerating them kill the yeast or just slow it down? At some point can I take them out or do they need to stay in there now?

Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

Yes I think I can manage that. I inherited a kegerator Saturday from a friend who's moving to California. How long do I need to refrigerate them?

Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

It wouldn't be the first time I cleaned wine off the ceiling... I put all the bottles in a plastic storage bin so they can blow in peace.

Help! Corks are gonna pop out!

I bottled some wine last night that I made from jelly. Today about half of the corks are half way out. It looks like they are slowly working there way out. What should I do?

Changed my mind about the blush. Tried a bottle of it last night and it taste like medicine. Still gonna try the jam wine though.

Wine questions about yeast and nutrient

I am making a couple of wine recipes this weekend. Both recipes call for lalvin 71b-122 but my local home brew shop only had lalvin k1-V1116 so thats what i bought. Both recipes also call for yeast nutrient but my lhbs only had yeast energizer so thats what I got. I will attach the recipes. Do...

    Man, I love Apfelwein

I needed my pail so I racked to a carboy and my apfelwein no longer smells like ass. We should start a new thread. How many people have gotten laid due to Ed Worts panty solvent.

How long can you leave beer in a primary?

How long can you leave it in the secondary? Is this any different?

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Yeah it was 100% apple juice but it had ascorbic acid added but I'm pretty sure I read in this thread that was okay.

    Man, I love Apfelwein

I made my first batch about 4 weeks ago. Followed Ed's recipe except used Great Value Apple Juice from Walmart. It got the strong sulfur smell that I had read so much about but it never really lost it. When I press down on the lid and get a whiff out of the airlock it is still stinky. Anyone...

    Does this look normal?

Okay. My readings seem to have leveled out so I racked it into a secondary and will let it sit for a couple weeks. Thanks for the answers

    Does this look normal?

I used C-Brite sanitizer. My temp was between 62 and 64 degrees. I have to a reading yesterday and today and they were both 1.02. Tjis is higher than it should be. I tasted it again today and was careful to not let it set in the rubber part of the baster and it was just bitter with no rubber...

    Does this look normal?

This is a True Brew Belgium Ale on day 6. I opened it to get a hydrometer reading. Does this look normal? I tasted it and it had a kind of burnt rubber taste.

How long does it typically take for the ass smell to go away? Blaming it on the apfelwien is getting to be a standard thing in my house.
