    be a hero!

I went and purchased adobe after effects cs6. Pretty robust program. Took me a month of straight reading to learn it.

I checked out that Adobe thing you mentioned and it looks like you have to pay annually. Is there stand alone video editing software that I don't have to pay annually?

Thanks a lot brother, ill get a youtube account. What kind of features does that Adobe offer and how much did it cost you? By the way I like your video! I see what you mean by camera bounce! I have the GoPro hero3 Silver Edition.

Does anyone have a go pro hero 3 camera. I just picked up one and did my first video ever. I mounted it to the end of a paintball gun barrel. here it is. The resolution isn't that good in this one, because photobucket wouldn't let me load the higher resolution...

    Hinged False Bottom

Theirs more than one way to skin a cat brother. You can just as easily make a jig for an angle grinder to cut perfect circles, and if you go to a local metal supply, or weld shop they wouldnt charge you much to take their scrap to make that false bottom. Instead of welding, bolt it together...

    Hinged False Bottom

All I did was measure the bottom of the keg it was going in, plasma cut out a circle to size, cut it down the middle with a thin cutting disc with an angle grinder, tack welded two pieces of stainless steel piano hinge cut to size, and for the legs, I copied the sabco brew magic design false...

    Welding Stainless without gas

I just want to quote myself and correct a simple mistake that I made. I know this is an old thread, but another welder brought this up to me, and I cant leave my old post with wrong info. With that being said it's 309 that is used to join stainless steel to steel not 308. Sorry for the typo...

    Harbor Freight Welder

We use the 30A Miller spoolgun with turtle out at the shipyard, and we dont have any problems getting into tight places. It really depends on the welder whether or not they can position it in tight spaces and weld comfortably, no offense to you BrewBeemer.;)

    Brutus 20 Build Pt 1

These 12" burners which I had to eventually take off, because it got the frame of my brew magic so hot, it started to melt the conduit sheathing that was 2 feet away. As you can see here, it got a little too hot:)

What are Sanke Kegs made of?

You can tell an alluminum keg and a stainless steel keg from its appearence. Your brother being a welder, will know how to test it. Whether its alluminum or stainless steel is irelevent, because it doesnt matter when cutting it, whether by angle grinder or plasma cutter. Plasma cutters will...

    Brutus 20 Build Pt 1

Do you need a Machete to get pass the hoses to reach your wort?:D Nice pics brother, I wish I was able to do stuff like that with my father before he passed 3 years ago, enjoy it. By the way, your gonna need to either trade down, or plug up some of them outer jets, because of the flame...

    Brutus 20 Build Pt 1

Did you post those pictures already, I didnt see them, or maybe Im looking in the wrong spot. By the way, this is a thread I started dedicated to lonnies sculpture design. I built if for one of the local homebrew club goers. If you read through the thread, its pretty funny, I think. We...

Cutting top off a Sanke keg using angle grinder

You should always use a cutting disc, and cut inside the lines, and then put on a tiger paw sanding disc, and make a perfect round rim, sanding all the way to the line you traced. Tiger paws, make easy work of stainless steel.

    adventures in welding stainless

Also I should tell you solar flux isnt cheap, at $45 for a one pound can, but it goes a long way, as you only need a little at a time. Also a product called heet, is what you mix it with, but someone here said you can mix it with water, but Ive never tried it that way. I just followed the...

    adventures in welding stainless

Now are you gonna tig or mig the conical? If you were tigging it, then you would fuse weld it from the outside, with the flux painted on the inside, and if you fuse weld it right, the inside should look seamless, with no gaps or cracks. If your thinking of mig welding the conical, well I will...

That mix is really good on thin metal, which the tank most likely is. Point being is that, this mix will work really well for you, and you will see a hell of an improvement. Tell me how it goes for you!
