    Is +90% efficiency possible?

    Hi Guys, I just recently had a brew where my calculations show that I've hit about 93% efficiency. Is this possible? I notice that there is another post where someone got even higher than that! Is this just some kind of mistake, or does this actually happen from time to time? TA

    Technology of Brewing and Malting

    I was wondering if any one has read the Siebel (sp?) text book Technology of Brewing and Malting. Their web site touts it as their most requested book. I am thinking about buying it but it's $150, and if it's a dud I would be real pissed for spending the cash.

    Mash Tun Lauter Tun design

    Ok, so I am looking into AG brewing and I have all the parts to make a Gott style mash tun lauter tun with a slotted copper manifold. The question I have is, would I be better off putting the slots up or down in the cooler? Thanks for any ideas or opinions! :tank:

    One Step in my Wort! Please Help!

    Ok, my brewing assistant just threw some one step cleaner into my boiling wort. It has about 45 min left in the boil before I have to try and cool it. Will this be ok? Should I start over? Thanks T A
