    Possible to do AG in 4 gallon pot?

    Need help, Brewing oatmeal stout right now

    First all grain disaster :(

    My first all grain batch today was pretty much a disaster. I mashed at 155 for an hour and then sparged. In total, I got about 7 gallons of wort.     First Cyser

    I've just finished making my first cyser, now it's airlocked.:) I used 5 gallons of Mott's and 6 lbs. of honey and pitched red star champagne yeast. The OG turned out to be 1.086.     Priming necessary?

    If after fermentation, the end product is pretty sweet, does it need to be primed before bottling? I had a batch that I bottled without adding sugar and that turned out to be carbonated really nicely, but I don't know if that was just a coincidence. Anyone? Thanks

    How much is too much?

    hydrometer reading

    Hi I recently made grape (wine?) with 4 gallons of welch's grape juice and red star champagne yeast. I tried to measure using a hydrometer but it doesn't even float right now... what am I doing wrong? Is the density too low to be measured?

    Grape Juice

    Ok, I've started a 4 gallon batch of grape juice with baker's yeast for 2 days and on the third day I added nottingham dry ale yeast plus about 2 pounds of sugar into the mixture and then I shook it all up. What results do you guys think I will get because honestly I have no idea, thanks.

    My nephew

    Well my nephew has been fascinated with homebrewing and such and decided to buy some brewer's yeast at his local homebrew shop. Unfortunately he is only 19, so he isn't of legal age yet. My question is how he bought it and whether that is legal or not. Thanks
