Looks good. I may have to take some notes. Hydraulic lift sounds cool, but also expensive. Can you rent these somewhere?

I've got one and love it. I use it on my keggle and it works just fine. I did make one "enhancement". I moved the burner up the stand so you don't lose as much heat. There are quite a few threads on here about this burner I'd suggest checking out.

These are sweet bottles. I was able to get 120 of these brown Grolsch for $50 from a friend of my dad's. He didn't know what he had. They are old, but very nice.

So I take it you are not using a bottle filler?

Wouldn't risk it. They are fairly inexpensvie and it's always good to have a few on hand anyway.

I thought you don't want your bottles/equipment to dry after rinsing/soaking with Star San? They need to be wet when bottling, correct? Kills the nasties only wehn wet.

4 1/2 weeks for a Maibock...isn't that awfully young? Shouldn't it lager for 3 months?

aggieactuary - if you get if figured out let us know. I'm having the same issue, but haven't had time lately to play around with it. I have the tank all the way open, but when I turn the needle valve on the regulator past 1/4 turn it goes out.

I've got three little kids so the BB are a no brainer for me. I still use glass carboy for laggering and my 7g bucket if I know i'm going to have a massive fermentation. I've thought about the BB accessories, but can't justify the cost.

Is it too cold? I had one stuck at 1.024 for 7 days or so, 3 week since brew day. Temp was 65. Then yesterday I noticed airlock activity. Temp was up to 68.

Why run through the dishwasher if going to use StarSan anyway?
