Please Tell me more regarding the fans. How often do the run? What was the impact to cooling? What about moisture collecting (help or hurt)?

More progress today. Collar is complete sans holes for taps. Decided to wait till I have thermostat properly adjusted. I used ridged foam to wrap the interior wood and then aluminum duct tape to seal the corners and top. Pulled thermostat from case and in the process of adjusting to a proper...

Final coat of poly applied. Pic of the Super insulation board. Knife blade on scroll saw is the best way to cut this material. Lose fit till tomorrow when ploy is fully cured.

Additional progress today. Trimmed out crown with 1/4" birch hardwood. Added some trim work and then a coat of poly on all inside surfaces. Decided I would line the inside with Dow super Tuff-r ridged insulation board with the foil side facing inward. Foil tape will be used to seal all joints...

For those interested, I had been debating what I might do to avoid moisture and warping of the wood. Current idea, glue ridged foam board (1") around the inside of the collar. I used 2x10 lumber for the collar to gain head-height so a corny will fit there on the shelf over the compressor. Added...

Oops, how bad might this turn out

Friend had 1/2 barrel of summer wheat for party. Afterward, there was a good bit of beer still in the keg and I had a empty corny keg ready to go. Problem was all we had was a hand pump and picnic tap. After sanitizing the corny keg we began to fill it with the picnic though the lid. We filled...

I'm pointing my friends to HBT as about 1/2 dozen are now brewing too. I'm also morning the loss of Hal McCoy covering the Reds; DDN is now worthless to me each and every day.

Mick, Been since 1990 that they really accomplished something worth writing about. I made it to game #1 of the fall classic agains the A's; what a blast. WHIO doesn't carry the games, but that is OK as WLW is like a local station. Marty still calling them and I've finally adjusted to Joe being...

    Sub $10 Drip tray idea.

If you can find an old computer hard drive, the actuator arm is between two very powerful magnets. Plus side is that the magnets are typically chrome plated too. Typically, these magnets are made of neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) You can find them on ebay all the time....Item
