So Uh I made a 2L yeast starter with Wyeast 3068 that got out of hand in a hurry. Been making starters for years now and this never happened to me. Going to have to make another stir plate since the cigar box I used is covered in goop.
At some point in the last 12 hours it lost it's lid...
Well I finished my first all-grain. After two years of extract I finally took the plunge and I must say it was a success!
It was just a plain pale ale:
9lb 2 Row US
1lb Crystal 20L
2oz of Cascade (60 min)
1oz of Williamette (5 min)
Hit my mash temp of 153 right on the nose and only...
