There is someone on the Aussie Home brewer site running a nanobrewery with a 50L :)

Well I got to use my new stand today for the first time. It was awesome! Even though I was just doing a 22L batch and I probably could have lifted the maltpipe easy enough, the winch made it super easy and also allows me to leave it raised higher than the kettle for a quick sparge and can...

Hi Bach, I can help with your first two questions :) 1. All my beers have been CRYSTAL clear. No dramas there. 2. Wort clarity is great if all goes well on brew day. If you don't contain all the grain it might be a bit cloudy. But one of the strengths of the BM is wort clarity. No worries here...

Thank you everyone for the kind words :) Yambor - I'm glad my pics can help, hopefully you can think of some improvements for your stand and make it better than mine! The maltpipe height issue was also a key design goal for this stand. Not only does it raise the pipe well above the wort level...

Hi Guys, I've been working on this ever since I got my BM, and I must say I'm quite proud of it. The two things I noticed during my first few brews using the BM were that it requires a very level working surface, and lifting the Maltpipe on the 50L is a ***** (for skinny me anyways). So I've...

Pump cleaning is nice and easy. Just flush water through the inlets and outlet then turn the whole unit upside down and unscrew the pump's brass end covers. The inside can then be inspected. These should only be on hand-tight, not need to force them. :)

Hi everyone, I was finally able to brew on my new Braumeister so I thought I'd write a report for you here and show off the little modifications supplied by my store here in Australia. I've also posted a report here on the Aussie Site This 50L Braumeister is a graduation gift from my wife...

Looking good Yambor, can you tell me if you get much cloudiness/grain enter the wort after you lift the malt pipe and recirculate a few litres? Cheers.

Thank you Yambour for another great set of images. You say you managed to estimate your efficiency when planning and achieved this during the brew, nice! It looks like you achieved 80% efficiency without a sparge of fresh water (looks like you just recirculated after lifting the malt pipe)? Is...

Hello Ofer, The image is to scale and the unit is 2m tall (top of winch). But I haven't finalised any measurements yet. I would suggest you plan your own bench so you can accommodate the size fermenters you use and chiller etc. My bench is relatively high as I need to gravity feed into a 60L...

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! :mug: Yambor, your bottom filter is looking good. I think your screen would work well to hold down the original cloth filter. Have you brewed with it yet? I can't wait to get my 50L Braumeister, I've even started planning a brew stand with integrated...

Hello everyone, my name is David and I'm about to receive a 50L Braumeister! YAY! I've enjoyed reading this thread and I've been participating in the Aussie thread linked above. Its great to be able to pool the knowledge regarding these great machines. One thing I would caution however it...
