Temp Controlled burners - another Y8610U clarification

Hi all! I've been on here for a while - and got sidetracked with a new home purchase - but want to automate my HLT and Mash... I plan to use a couple Auber SL-2362's and have SSR's already with a 24V power block... I get confused with all the different Y8610U (+XXXX) kits.. Can someone...

Help finding instant hot water temp control manifold

I searched all the ways I could think of - Looking for a post I saw a while back that used a maxed out instant how water and a couple (few?) automated flow valves to modulate temperature of water. Background - I have a Eccotemp L5 - switched out the cutoff for $10 to hit 180 degree water...

2 Vessel Mash Efficiency very low.. Help?

I have sorted through the low efficiency threads I can find, but am a little bugged  with my mash lately. I have a version of this: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/countertop-brutus-20-a-131411/ Only mine is 2 keggles on two burners, run manually with two pumps. I based the idea...

    Side by Side - Fermanator

I started this a while back, thought I would add mine to the mix. Been running about 6 months, no issues - I put two Auber PID controllers in the freezer door and bypassed the OEM thermo - once I started cutting was done in a couple hours to current state. Still want to install Heater on...

Sprinkler valve controlling water to rig??

I'm building a brewtroller for my gravity fed system, and have a 'custom' PVC manifold that controls water during the day (to HLT or plate chiller mainly). Part of the automation (thanks Kladue!) is to automate the HLT burner, in progress, which requires 24V - so I have this available already...

No Sink? Here's a cheap bottle rinser...

If you have a spare corney - this might work for you: Total cost: ~$30 (cheaper if you already have parts) Take a small bucket ($6), one 90 degree threaded pvc piece ($~4), buy a plastic bottle blaster ($15) and a liquid pin-lock ($6), one piece of high temp tubing and connect it all up...

Tiny Brew (TB) - "Research Brewing System"

I'm nearing the completion of the my small scale electric system - so thought I would share with those that have inspired this creation. I have to re-build the electric enclosure (SSR too hot for smallest version) this weekend, perhaps get to brew sunday??!! Pictures forthcoming....:mug...

    Wiring diagram help?

Good morning- I'm working on partial automation of my brew rig (HLT and MLT) but am finding the wiring to be a unknown and therefore stumbling on it. I understand the basic concept and purchased all the parts, but think a wiring digram might be a great reference (troubleshooter?)...

    My new rig

Cheers from the left coast! I am pretty new here - but have definitely appreciated all the inspiration and quality ideas/discussion - I found a sweet stand for $50 at a local industrial liquidator, found a craigslist ad for three 15 gal kegs, already modified, and put it all together...

    Flame Sensor/relay as Propane safety?

I have been lurking here for quite a while - collecting bits - my first Steam-infused mash was last weekend, it was surprising how smooth it went - I owe this to the whole board - thank you for putting your ideas out here. I have recently purchased a Brewtroller - but want to continue to use...
