    The price jumped a bit as they now include dry yeast, yeast fuel and a wirflock tab by default now. If you select a liquid yeast as well, you still get the dry yeast. I wish they would say what dry yeast it is though.

    I don't think it will actually kill anything. I think Killer is just saying that it will dry things out to the extreme.

    Great picture! I am actually making a starter of some washed french saison yeast that is over a year old. I expect it to be just fine.

    Wow, for just 2-3 more dollars I can get a liquid yeast pack for that money. That was the only reason I was using dry yeast anyway, to save a few bucks.

    It really depends on what you are looking for. The french saison yeast will strip out almost all the sweetness from your beer and will leave a bit of spiciness. I don't think that would go with the chocolate personally.
