    Too soon to bottle?

I am a very impatient person as well and if I have learned nothing else since I started brewing.... patience IS what makes a good beer. One very good method I have figured out, the hard way I might add, is to keep tabs on the gravity of your brew. I do not know all the formulas but most "kits"...

I forget where I was, Houston I think, where I saw a spiggot which cooled enough on the outside of the thing and a nice thick coat of ice formed the outside..... looked awsome but I'll bet it was VERY expensive... and inefficient.:drunk: Wish I had a picture.

I think you are correct about the compressor oil but I am not certain.... As far as making it pretty , why dont you just go buy some nice hardwood panels and rivit (or screw) them to the outside of the refer? I have a little hotel fridge I am planning on doing this too. Just be careful not...

I spent 8 years in the ARMY drinking water and eating off of utensils "sanitized" with diluted bleach. According to ARMY doctrine bleach is the cause of, and solution to all of the worlds problems. I would say yes but make sure you dont get any in your brew..... YUCK! And just a...

    Starter?

What am I accomplishing by making a "starter"? I am assuming this is simply mixing a bit of wort with my yeast a few hours (day or so?) before brewing. Am I thinking about it correctly? What are some successful methods of making a starter? Gotta make a clever signature
