    Stuck or just Paranoid.

So still no activity in the airlock at all, Friday I will check again and check the hydrometer reading. I am assuming that it is a leak int he gasket. Should I transfer to another vessel and pitch some more yeast? or just let it keep going in the same bucket?

Thanks, I suspect that it might be the lid, that leaks like you said. At least I hope it is.

    Stuck or just Paranoid.

Ok here is my dilemma, is my fermentation stuck or am I being paranoid? Ok the attached picture is at the 75 hour mark I have not seen any airlock activity at all. I did gravity reading and it was 1.040, original was 1.052 but could have been off and most likely closer to 1.060. Tasting did not...

    Malt info

Sorry about the typing and my though process when typing. I blame the cold meds. Well the only reason I took out the 1 and 1/4 cups was because the recipe called for 8.5 lbs, and instead of wasting the rest of the DME I was going to use it for the priming. Instead of using the priming sugar.

    Anyone still awake with me

Ok, so now I have a dilema! my pot is so full during the boil, I could not add the maple syrup. I figure that there will be room at the 15 min mark. Should I add it then? I replaced all the water with maple sap. I am 30 minutes in now and I see room in the pot with the evaporation that has...

I have my Red Ale in a secondary right now for conditioning and clarifying. It has been there for 3 weeks now. I was going to bottle it tonight but I am not ready. My question is will it hurt anything if it stays on secondary for another week. without being bottled?
