    haha i know strange you could loose beer in a fridge. Its actualy a mini fridge in the garage that i used solely for brewing. Its been a long vacation and im ready to get back into things

    No its def a german hefe yeast, I was drinking one of his hefe's while he gave me the yeast. Very fruity, probably one the the best ive had yet.

    Unless you have a way of recovering the refrigerant dont use any form of heat to fix it. Best bet is JB Weld, wipe with rubbing alchohol to make sure the area is clean and maybe scuff it up a little too to help the JB Weld stick.

    your best bet would be a step drill, just put a 3/16 pilot hole in it and go to town with the step drill. I do allot of fab work and my step drill is my best friend.

    possible change of plans, i was debating on making this a lager instead. One problem though..... i have no method of cold fermentation:(. if I use a steam beer yeast and ferment at about 60-65 deg. do you think Ill loose too much of the lager taste.
