    any motorcycle riders

Shooter has some good points. i am also partial to the proper equipment...every time you ride. I firmly believe that having the right gear is probably more important (or at least just as important) as the type of bike you decide to get. some of the worst accidents i have been witness to...

The stupidest comment on your beer

it's been said a few times already, but we still make fun of this buddy who thinks he is the know all of the universe. sipping a fat tire clone. "wow, this is a really hoppy beer" the rest of us just smiled and said uh huh.

    any motorcycle riders

Although all posts are good advice, but i tend to disagree with most peoples opinion to a certain point. having a smaller cc bike to start with may limit you a little, but it is still possible to hit 100mph on a kawi 250. i have had plenty of friends who started on these bikes and still did...

    Yeast delivered sat in sun!

good thread. i get to deal with the same issue. i am in california, but usually i would get stuff from them within 5 days max. the last couple deliveries have taken over two weeks. although everyone says RDWHAHB and you know this too be true...and make a starter...still makes me, and...

    Mash tun tubing to kettle?

i have used this same type of tubing. although it doesn't state it is rated for these temps, i have brewed lots of beer with it and havent had a single issue. the tubing gets a little more flexible, but not bad at all. FWIW

    Burner parts

i just finally fixed the same issues with my burner set up. If you are having the same issue i was, and it sounds like you are, you are pushing too much propane and tha'ts why you are getting that yellow flame with the soot. You need to get a smaller orifice for the burner. I had to go to a...

Fermenting in a tub with water bottles...

i have never done it this way, but thats how my dad keeps his cool. from times i watched he only has the water about 1/3 of the way up the bottle. I have seen him even put a fan in the bathroom blowing across the bottle (evaporative cooling) to help a little more too on warmer days.

How Do You Get Temp Control For Lagers

a chest freezer would be nice...as another option i got both of mine for under $100.00. the ferm fridge will fit 4 buckets and still has a shelf in it for other stuff. the other fridge fits a 20# CO2 tank and 5 corneys without any issues. To answer your question about the bottom being...

i have one of those pots that i use for a HLT. i have a thermometer and sight gauge drilled into it, and after multiple boils havent had any off flavors or any part of that coating come off. i was a little worried at the beginning as well, but haven't had any issues yet.
