I will definitely give the epoxy stuff a try; unfortunately I have to wait till June; I am leaving next week to go out of country and won't be back till June.

    My Kegerator

Yeah I have to wait on it to give that a shot its a bit pain full to disassemble the thing. Main concern is to put that cold beer somewhere till i get done as I definitely don't want that cold beer to get below 38 degrees. Have some plans till June 5th.

Yeah my friends told me the same thing; just happened to be that I was so impatient and did not wait for our 3/16 100 feet beer grade pipe to arrive. And yes you are right it do foam a bit more than usual; I have it set to 16 psi now and it do seem like its carbonating but a bit slower than...

    Issue with my Wheat Beer....help?

Hey Ewalk02 I hope you don't mind me updating/asking my problems in this post as I have the exact same problem with my IPA. I already had mine in the fridge and charging and after reading this thread I ended up deciding to go with the orange zest idea. Transferred it to another keg and left...

    My Kegerator

Yeah I am using braided tubing for beer and gas as those were the only Food Grade tubing I could find at Lowes. The tubing is 5/16" in size and its working great.

Na, I have to be very careful with it. Tried using Gorilla glue but it kept dripping down like tears due to gravity, so I have to come up with another option. I was hesitant to put Gorilla glue before because the Shank would be there permanently. But for now I have used some just around the...

Another "Where to drill kegerator" thread

I am new to fridges myself, but from what I have read they usually tend to have compressor parts on the bottom and the Condenser coil is located on the top with a water collecting tray so you might want to check out how far and where it is as you definitely don't want to break that puppy. I got...

Metal Cutting Noob - how do i cut a hole?

I just used a dremel to cut 1/4 inch SS with no problem. However, you need to have a Diamond Bit for it to get the cut with no smoke and no oile. They have two of them available at Home Depot: 1. $8 - Not a ture Diamond bit but it does the job but it will take you a bit longer to get the job...

DIY Jockey Box anyone? Or: can you self coil the SS?

I was thinking about building one of those for myself before I got my kegerator setup. Anyways, I am all about saving money and so instead of using SS tubing I was looking into using copper tubing that you can buy for around $30-$40 at the hardware stores. I asked around a few brewery stores for...

Ahh; Do keep us updated, I definitely would like to know how it turned out. If your brew gets fixed this way then I won't wait for mine and go with your approach.

    Issue with my Wheat Beer....help?

I am not too sure about this but I would stay away from the re-boiling idea as I would assume the beer at this point already have alcohol and bringing it to 160 would not be safe I would think. I have the same exact problem with my IPA and after reading this post looks like I am not the only...
