Glad everyone is still enjoying this recipe! I need to make another batch soon!

Just put about my 10th batch in my fernentation fridge. My bicycle club requires me to bring a keg to all of our Time Trial Picnics. Around these parts, it is called Time Trial Beer, and is very loved. No changes to the original 10gal recipe.

to date, this is the highest BJCP score I have gotten, at 42. Need to make it again soon. I do the brown ale as an all grain 10gal, and do 5gal with the raspberries.

glad it finally finished. Likley you had a slow starting (old) yeast, way underpitched, or did not have enough oxigenation. Glad your SWMBO loved it.

i used nottingham, kegged after 7 days, and consumed on the 10th day. it was amazing. a new favorite

just what my LHBS had on had the day I was putting it together, You can use any combination of LME or DME. Feel free to do all DME, or all LME.

first 10gal all grain batch is almost gone, grain to glass (Kegged) in 10 days, and VERY tasty! Just bought everything to make my 2nd batch, $33 for a 10gal batch at my LHBS Thanks BM for the sweet recipe, I can see this going into the regular rotation!

with homebrewing, your grain should always be crushed. either at your LHBS or at home with your grain mill. Glad to see everyone is enjoying this recipe. I am thinking about scaling this upto a 10gal all grain version to do tomorrow.

Feel free to bastardize my recipe as much as you want. It is actually my bastardized version of someone else's recipe anyways.

You need at least 2 gallons pre boil. I do it this way yo extract as much as I can from the grain. I move the grain bag to a strainer at the top of the kettle and pour hot water over it.
