    i have a first year plant that has been eaten a little by canker worms. Now that the canker worms are going away, i see red ants on the vine. Is that a problem? I heard that they are not necessarily that bad for a garden. Is this true? Any advice would be much appreciated. thanks

    Thanks, ill try that. Just out of curiosity and for future reference. If I was going to add more grain to the bill, would i just want to add more to the base malt, or would i have to add all the grains just at the ratio in the recipe?

    Substituting belgian 2 row with domestic

    I bought some used equipment off of a guy to venture into the world of all grain. I got a huge bag that says in red lettering: Brewer's Malt IMC Canada Winnipeg, MB Does anybody know what kind of grain this might be. I assume two-row, but is it pilsner? or pale? Thanks is advance.

    Hop substitutions??

    Any chance someone else has a hop substitution chart? I cant get fermantor's chart to load. Im looking to substitute .5oz of fuggles in a mild ale. The recipe calls for 2oz of fuggles and i have 1.5oz in the freezer. Any ideas,
