Dallas / Fort Worth Grain Buy #4

Why was he complaining? Were his prices higher than the buy? Or do they think the 5-10 people in a small group buy, buy all of the grain in DFW. Stupid.

    Good android brewing app?

I use BrewR and like it a lot. I also use Brewer's Friend for brewday it has all of the essential calculators you would need.

Didn't get a full, rolling boil - problem?

It should be fine, You may just not get all the utilization from your hops but I doubt it will be an issue you can tell. 210 is pretty darn close. RDWHAHB

    Tasted my first batch

Yikes, give that beer time man... It probably wasn't even done fermenting. Minimum 2 weeks in primary(I go a month or two). You brew and you learn.:mug:

PICTURE: Did I oxidize my beer?

Happens to me all the time, no big deal.

How long can my brew live in the carboy?

Your beer will be fine I leave mine up to a month in Primary. It's only when you brew Hefs or IPA's that you want to drink it fresh and a couple of weeks would then suffice.

    Saflager S-23

He has to be doing something wrong, and frankly when people post those meaningless posts it doesn't help new brewers and shy's them away from perfectly good yeast.
