    What is good mash PH target for IPA's and Double IPA's? Is it worth purchasing a PH meter or would the PH strips be a good enough measuring tool?

    Anybody use something like this for a fermenter? If so how do you like it? How is it to clean? Can you put a valve or anything on the bottom for easy transfer?

    10 gallon batches?

    I'm trying to upgrade my system from 5 gallon batches to 10 gallon batches, and I'm curious as to what everyone uses for a fermenter for 10 gallons. I guess I could split the batch in two buckets or figure out how to convert a keg. Thoughts?

    Wouldn't you worry about your beer sitting on the yeast and potentially picking up some off flavors? Or are those flavors part of the style of beer?

    Awesome build! Did you ever think of using a bigger freezer so you could divide the space for fermentation? I'm planning on doing something similar but I want to create a space for lagering too.
