    Yes, you're 100% correct. I could do that, and ultimately may end up doing so. But, given that home brewing is (at least to me) also a journey in creative engineering, I'm curious if someone has solved this issue. Thanks for the reply!

    I had this issue with my CF10. It would not hold pressure above 10-11 PSI. I contacted Spike and they sent me their v2 lid gasket for free, which they said is not even for sale yet.
