    First Pour...All Head

    My first pour is all head. I live in Florida and my kegator is out in the garage. Any Ideas in preventing the Head...The rest of the pour are fine unless it sits for more then 1/2 hour

    KEg System Leaks

    My System is leaking and I have tried everything. I even bought a new regulator and my system still leaks. My Co2 is outside the fridge and I have replace lines from the kegs to the taps (it still leaks). I have checked the pressure from the kegs and replaced gaskets (the system still leaks)...

    Kegging not connected to CO2

    Can you keg beer without it being connected to CO2? I would connected it at first, make sure the oxygen has been forced out but then disconnected. Is there a problem with doing this. I would like to have one keg on standy since I only have two taps.

    I have a prewort immersion and wort immersion chiller. The problem is it takes from flame out to hitting 74 degrees around 90 minutes. I live in florida so the water is pretty warm but the prewort immersion is sitting in an ice bath. The water runs slower to absorb as much cold/heat as...

    Blow off top

    My blow off cap keeps getting blow off the carboy. Does anyone know why? And how to prevent. I'm concerned my batch is "blown". Sorry about the pun. The batch is temp controlled kolsch @ 58 in a chest freezer.

    Ok, I'm not sure what is going on with my beer. I tasted my American ale. Tasted fine and had a great head. Tasted the next bottle and tasted flat. Anyone have some ideas?

    My beer has no head

    I bottled my first batch muntons IPA bitter's on march 6th. I used 1/2 cup of corn sugar. I placed in the fridge yesterday and poured, no head. :( I guess I didn't use enough sugar. Is there a way to fix this? or should I just be more patient? On a good note, I brewed a batch of Kolsch...

    Bottles

    Why are empty bottles so expensive? I am just starting and I "saved" enough of my empties to do my first batch. Now I have one in my primary and will start a second primary in a week. So, there is no way I will "save" over 100 bottles in 2-3 weeks. Any Ideas for low cost bottles? Thanks.

    My first batch "watery" taste?

    Ok, I m brand new at this but it has been alot of fun so far. I bottled my first batch of Munton's IPA Bitter with 1 oz of cascade finishing hops yesterday. I tasted some and tasted a little "watery." Any ideas? Thanks.
