    well thanks for all the advice and responses! i did find a lot of information on the co2 purge style system after i posted. and as far as the yeasties i think they are awesome i could care less if they were in the bottles i was just curious on how to achieve the more commercial look. so thanks...

    I have made several batches of brew now and let me say super addictive hobby! When botteling beer to get it to carb is there anyway to not get yeast layer in the bottom? if so how do you get it to carb in a bottle? the mainstream beer manufactures filter and use a different process i suppose...

    Hi guys, first time here and first time brewing. So I went ahead and did all the things i was supposed to do (extract style brew) on saturday the 21st, it only bubbled the air lock a bit, maybe a day. I am using a bucket with a lid and lock, i was waiting to see if it would take off...
