I'll be going on a business trip the middle of January with stops in Buffalo, Syracuse and Albany. Where should I be drinking/eating and what local beers should I be trying? I'm in So Cal so no idea of the East Coast scene.

Going to be in town with the family for vacation for a few days and I need some family friendly places to grub and if they feature local beers that is a plus. We'll be staying at the Dana Inn on Mission Bay across from Sea World so something within 10 miles max. Appreciate the help.

Being in Southern California this is a problem I haven't encountered before. I brewed 2 batches last Friday and cooled one to pitching temp and pitched and the second bach I left to cool until the morning. Well it's been getting down to the low 50's/high 40's here at night and not going above...

It's just after midnight in So Cal and I've got 2 extracts with grains working away, my winter ale and an oatmeal stout for the SWMBO. Drinking some Kona Longboard Ale and enjoying a cigar. Oh and for all you East Coasters and Midwesterner's it's 62 outside. :-)

I'll be in spending one night each in Albuquerque and Santa Fe in October. Any places I shouldn't miss, looking for places that have food as well.

SWMBO gave birth to our 2nd son last night, both doing fine at the hospital. I'm home watching Beer Wars, brewing a Kolsch, BBQ a rack of beef ribs and enjoying a cigar. Other than cleaning the house it's as good as it gets! Shows you really don't need much to be satisfied.

So what key words do you use to find some good CL scores on brewing equipment? Beer, Brew, etc...
