I'd love one!!

Third year for my plants, and all three have shoots already... My cascade last year apparently was rather busy... Trying to clean out around them I pulled a four foot root out that was running just under the soil; trying to get away. Will post pics once they start to look like something.

If you are offering, I'd love a zip of your source so I can adapt it to my project... It'd save me a ton of time.

I have been working on a similar project with a PIC18F... right now kind of hung up on the thermistors and lack of time... Too much time spent enjoying the new kegs I bought. :)

I thought it would be fair to revive this thread... after two trips to other peoples' weddings this summer, this beer went into my first Keg last night with 8 oz of cherry flavoring. It came out MARVELOUS. *grin*

Got the bottling tube set up as a blowoff, pulled it to let the pressure out of the bucket, and got a face full of krausen... going to try and chill it down a little bit, I have a couple gallons of water in the 50's, that should do it. Thanks all for your quick replies.

It was a munich wheat ale yeast, in dry form, no starter used.

I'll start sanitizing the hose now and setting up for a blow off setup... Hope the hose diameter matches the airlocks. :) Looking forward to more feedback on this... Come to think of it, this (And the previous ruined batch) are the only two I have made using a full six pounds of dried wheat...

Out of the hundred or so batches that I have made thus far, the only other time I have experienced this was with another wheat beer that was infected and ultimately discarded... I started a batch into primary fermentation last night - 6# DME Wheat Extract, 1 oz hops, ale yeast pitched at 64*...

My last batch, (and I am trying this from memory, so I might be off) 6 lbs Extra light DME 1 lb Clover Honey 1lb Biscuit Malt (Steeped for flavor) 1 - 2 oz Cascade / Centennial Boiling hops. (Somewhere around 8-15HBU) 1 oz Cascade at the last five minutes of boil for hop flavor 6 -...

I'd leave em... Likely you will have an undercarbed beer, but that's preferable over opening bottles.

They can be planted, just get the tips about an inch below the ground... You don't want them soaked, but decently moist.
