My second batch, everything went smooth!

Update on this, I'm going to upload a pic soon but the beer went really good, I'm so proud. This time, I've tried it after bottling it 4 days ago and it already has signs of being really good: It was cooled down fast after brewing it, I kept it on the bathtub with cold water even adding...

    Racking cane nightmare, help!

That's right, in order to bottle I was using a special bottling attachment on the spigot and discovered the attachment gets clogged and also when there's 1 gallon left it becomes almost impossible for beer to come out (seemingly not enough pressure) So I bought the cheapest racking cane which...

About to brew brewferm's ABDIJ, I have no idea

Thanks, one question remains, there's a weird part: "Now add 2 liters of hot tap water, in which the amount of sugar (from the SUGAR 1 column) per litre of brew volume was dissolved and mixed throughly)" Does that translate as mix sugar in 2 liters of hot tap water? After reading the...

About to brew brewferm's ABDIJ, I have no idea

Hi, I bought a kit of Brewferm's ABDIJ and the instructions are in Czech so I have no idea how to brew it. Do I need to boil? how much water should I use? When to transfer for secondary? How much sugar to use? When to add the sugar? When to bottle? It is for 9 liters. Thanks.

    U Fleku Recipe (Bohemian Dunkel)

No, you're right, I just checked and U Fleku is a lager so I would need to find a way to keep the temp really low, maybe in winter. Do any of you know of an extract that would work to replace Caramunich?

    U Fleku Recipe (Bohemian Dunkel)

Wow, so this can actually be done? This is one of the best beers, I live in Prague and go to U Fleku from time to time and the beer always surprising, plus it is not heavy and it is very refreshing. I'm very tempted to buying a Grain Father? Can a Grain Father do this recipe?

So I have dry clean bottles, now what?

My question is, my bottles have been rinsed with water immediately after drinking beer and then dried so they have nothing inside, do I fill them up with beer just like that? Or you guys always use special sanitizer on them then pour the sanitizer mix out and then add the beer or what?

Do I really need to bottle everything?

OK I will follow your advice and probably get more PET bottles, by the way, last batch which was my first batch I added the priming solution directly to the fermentor, stirred, and after half an hour I bottled and one of the good things about my beer was the carbonation, it had a perfect...

Do I really need to bottle everything?

The question arises from this: Not enough bottles, it is tiring to bottle everything. So I was wondering if let's say I add the sugar solution for priming to the fermenter and then bottle 2.5 gallons and leave the other 2.5 in the fermenter and just replace the lid for another one that is...

Which bittering hop for my IPA combination?

Hello, so I've decided that I will keep working on perfecting IPAs. I'm liking Citra and Galaxy hops a lot, are these a good combination by themselves? So for the bittering part alone, does the hop variety really matter much? For instance, I was thinking to use Agnus hops because almost 2...
