Concerning manifolds, is there a critical difference between making slots as opposed to making holes? I made a cheap C-PVC manifold and I just drilled 1/16" holes all along the bottom, so far (after two batches, one was wheat) I haven't had any problems with it.

She's not much to look at I know. 20' of 3/8 ID soft copper tubing and hastily built. Vinyl is clamped on the ends. Like every other piece of my equipment she is cheap. Altogether I think I spent about 20 dollars.

It's missing a cap on the far right stem and the holes are only up so that you can see them. It's very elementary but also very cheap. Hopefully in the future, I can find a four pronged fitting so that I can add a stem in the middle. The C-PVC is 1/2" and the holes are 1/16".
