Beer lines from keezer to counter top

I am doing the same thing right now. Wondering how it went and whatg you ended up doing. I have a keezer under the bartop. With a tower on top of the bartop. Have not drilled holes through the keezer lid yet.

Controlled fermentation temps. How are you doing it?

Luxpro PSP300 Heating and cooling outlet thermostat programmable. About $40.00, In a chest freezer (rescued from the junk pile) plugged into a light bulb. Kept my fermentor within one degree, in this long crappy winter in lovely northern Wisconsin. Pretty cheap investment with awesome...

    Remote temperature reading

I like the BCS-460 idea, actually very close to what I was thinking. Under $200.00 ? There is an igrill device, that is very close but I don't do iphone or apple. I am going to research the BCS-460 idea. Thanks

    Remote temperature reading

Been playing with this in my mind for a bit, but have not found any good solutions. I work from my home, so typically I start up the lap top in the morning in my office and check email's etc. I would think it would be cool if I could (using my pc) check the temps in my fermenting chamber and...

    Houblon Monstre Triple IPA...

Just was cruising around and saw this post, Revvy's rules on bottle conditioning are dead on, and some good reading. Also, one other thing that I learned the hard way, and yes there are people who are against this as well as for it, so take it for what it's worth. After adding your priming...

    American Pale Ale recommendation

For what it's worth, I just opened my first bottle from a Brewer's Best APA, extract kit, and even though it's a little green yet, I am VERY impressed. It may be that I am a little sick of the lighter summer beers and this is one of the first bigger, hoppy'er beers of the season for me. Bottom...

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Jalapeno Cream Ale

If you're a sensitive kind of guy, yeah a little burn. My next batch is going to be called Burning Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash), you either love it or hate it

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Jalapeno Cream Ale

Extract, I took a Brewer's Best Cream Ale, added nothing until second week in the secondary. I took about 5 jalapeno's sliced them up and added them to the secondary for a week. Have sampled 2 of them, but they need to sit for at least another week. So far very good!!! I have nothing else...

    Pony bottles - pocket rockets

Does anyone sell the small bottles 7-8 ounce bottles. We use to call them pocket rockets when I was a kid, ( I mean young adult of legal drinking age) Thought I would bottle some beer in those for gifts.

    Bottle conditioning

So in general do you want your bottle conditioning temperature the same, lower, or higher than your primary and secondary fermenting temperature?

    Bottle conditioning

I think a bottle conditioning closet is a good idea, I have been tossing that around lately probably time to take the next step.

    Bottle conditioning

Ah yes another debate. I think I will try the gentle stir method. Thanks

    Bottle conditioning

I put the priming solution in first, but don't stir. Is stirring recommended?

    Bottle conditioning

2/3 cup of sugar boiled in 2 cups of water, sorry wasn't very clear on that
  19. B

    Bottle conditioning

I put about 2 cups of the boiled priming sugar in the bottom of the bottling bucket, then siphon from the secondary to the bottling bucket

    Bottle conditioning

Does a Belgian Wit take longer than other brews to bottle condition? My basement temp is about 60 degrees, and they have been in the bottle for about 8 weeks. I had very inconsistent results but lately after 2 months it seems to have come around. Otherwise I was experiencing some flat ones...
