    Frigidaire Kegerator Wooden Top build.

The drip tray is removable. These faucets don't drip exactly line up where the Perlicks did, so I tilted it so that the drips would flow into the tray. The wood is perfectly flat. Just a tilted tray. The Perlick faucets didn't fit because the grooves on the shank didn't match up with the...

    Frigidaire Kegerator Wooden Top build.

The kegerator is almost complete. I started out with a Frigidaire Model FRC445GB. I saw this conversion on homebrewtalk.com <here>, so I knew ball lock corny kegs could fit. I used the fridge unmodified (read no tower) for a couple of years. I always had the intention of putting a tower on it...

    Perlick Faucet Problem

Bumping this thread. I just attempted installing new 525ss on a new tower shank this weekend, and they leaked. I'm going to get with the store I bought them from and attempt to work something out.

    Your Brewstand Retrospectives?

This is exactly what I was thinking. Have any thoughts for a good width to use for sanke kegs? You mentioned in another post that you think brewstands are too wide.

    best beers of NHC 2011

The beers there were awesome. Stopped at the port brewing bottle shop in Carlsbad. Picked up some beers that are not distributed in AZ. I loved going to Lost Abbey. I picked up a couple bottles of Older Viscosity. Tomme Arthur's wood aging talk was great. The beers he had there were even...

    Interesting experience using amylase enzyme...

I just want to say that I've used this stuff before in a Stout (1.085 OG, stuck at 1.035). i first tried all the same techniques as mentioned, but it still didn't drop. I even racked on a belgian yeast cake. I took the plunge with the amylase enzyme powder. After a few hours of sprinkling it...

Pitching rate with harvested commercial yeast

Take a look here: http://www.mrmalty.com/calc/repitch.html That should estimate about how many cells you have in your slurry... Also, just a quick note, doubling the volume each time does not double the number of cells.
