Started a new Cream Ale with Pilsner, a splash of honey malt, bit o corn, a little rice, Azacca hops and WLP080.
Thought I'd break in my new *3* gal fermenter that's actually only 1.5 gal, so bonus, get to make another batch.
I was feeling that the slowdown was related to craft beers being everywhere too, until last week when I noticed their prices going through the roof. I can definitely brew for less now. Off to rework my marketing...
I'm glad to hear your optimism. I'm in talks to buy a LHBS in Atlanta, but business has been really slow this summer. One or two places in the area have closed, but I'm hopeful.

Getting ready to stir up a Genesee Cream clone because WHERE IN THE HELL IS ALL THE CREAM ALE????
Seriously, tho. I only found 1 Vanilla Cream in a huge store. (This is what I will be drinking today, ftr).
Genesee, get ye to Atlanta!
I just opened up a Honey Vanilla Cream I concocted using Honey Malt, with a vanilla bean thrown in to secondary. Not too bad. Honey malt rocks! (But I should have gone with 2-row. Marris Otter experiment gives it a weird finish.

Hi all!
Been enjoying lurking for a while and thought it was time to jump in.
I'm Shanie from the NW Atlanta (OTP). I've been a big beer fan since age 16, but I just started learning to brew in the last 3 years when I got a job at Beer & Wine Craft in Sandy Springs (shameless plug).
I really...
Thanks for that. Hadn't heard of them.
Probably not permitted to mention it, but we're working on getting a club going in Sandy Springs at Beer & Wine Craft.
