    Confused myself wiring a 240V outlet

    I'm running a 240 outlet for an induction cook top. I pulled 12/3 (4 conductors), got my single outlet (6-20), a metal box and 20 amp breaker. My question - the outlet has 2 hots and a ground. Red/Black for hot. The bare is my ground, right? Would I use the white neutral to bond the metal...
