    Saranac Vanilla Stout

    found the saranac winter sampler the other day, and drank the 2 vanilla stouts last night. i have to say i liked this beer tremendously, but was hoping for more vanilla flavor or aroma. this might be more appropriately named a chocolate stout.

    Saranac Black Forest, might be my most favorite beer of all time. Little hard for me to find their less popular and seasonals down here in Jersey, but i'm gonna have to go hunting now, because a Vanilla Stout is something i want to work on in my brewing adventures. Thanks for the heads up.

    well i got a little excited looking over the kegerator threads... i don't intend for my mr. beer to have anything to do with it; as far as i'm concerned they will be 2 different projects for quite a while. i have big plans.

    been reading and enjoying all the info and stories here on HBT. got a mr. beer this morning under the tree and i'm ready to get started. tomorrow i'll brew up a mr. beer wit bier, and i'll be picking up a free fridge off craigslist to get a head start on the kegerator portion of the madness...
