    OG too low?

    Yeah, that's what someone else I spoke to suggested as well, that it was just stratified... I did exactly what the directions I had said, so it probably is ok. Thanks!

    OG too low?

    I'm brewing a porter from a kit from a local homebrew place, and the directions say the OG should be .05-.055... however, when taking the OG mine was only appx .038 :-( I'm still new to this, so why is mine so low? Too much water and not enough of the wort? quite a bit of the wort did seem...
