This is the best beer I have ever made, and one of the best beers I've ever tasted. We just drank the last beer at a tasting party where more than 25 very nice beers (think Avery Anniversary I PA, several aged Sierra Nevada's 30th Anniversary beers, Dogfish Head, some rare Stone beers, etc)...

Speaking for myself: I brewed a JW Lees Harvest Ale clone and in my research I read that Barleywines need buscuitiness and that is developed by a longer boil. Boiling longer also helps drive up the gravity/ABV.

I linked to the wrong ones there. Mine are gray, so I wasn't sure if they were just for liquid, which is what they were used for before I got them. I've been using mine for CO2 with no problems though.

I bottle from the keg with the BMBF I get the carbonation where I like it. That's good to know about the hop aroma fading quickly. I think I might dry hop 5 gallons and leave the other 5 like it is. Any suggestions on what type of hop? I'm a big fan of Perle's aroma but I'm not sure if it...
