    Thanks for all the opinions. Do you guys store the bottles upright or on their side?

    What's everyone's opinion on Swing-top bottles, like the ones Redstone Meadery uses? Has anyone used these with their own batches? It seems like they'd be prone to oxidation, but Redstone seems to have had some success with them. Can they be stored on their side?

    Cote des Blancs JAOM stalled.... What now?

    I wouldn't worry about it, yet. I'm using Cotes Des Blancs and I feared it stuck too. After the first month, not a bubble did I spy in the airlock. Yet two months later and my gravity reading went from 1055 to 1027.

    Thanks for the welcome, Nurmey. Do you typically use Champagne yeast in your meads? I'm definitely going to use it in my next batch. This one's a sweet mead, next one's going to be dry. I was doing some more research, and I think Cotes Des Blanc is advertised to max out at around 12%...
