    Adding fruit to secondary

    Agreed, but I plan on adding my first addition at the end of the boil. I'm relying on the fruit for some of my fermentables. If I don't, my abv will be just under 4%, which is a bit low. I'm guessing that 2 pounds in the secondary should give it some significant flavor.

    How are yeast killed?

    Wow good to know, didn't think you needed pitch so quickly after re-hydration! I used dry yeast for the first time a couple weeks ago after being re-hydrated for about 4 hours...although I did put some sugar in there to them going as well.

    So my OG was 1.054, 1 and a half days later its 1.024...seems like that is extremely fast. Unfortunately my temperature is about 77 or 78 as I have no temperature control system. I'm using S-04 for a Nut Brown...think I'm going to see some real off flavors in this brew?

    Before or after....how about during? Otherwise there might be an aspect of the beer that doesn't taste like piss, and BMC knows how much people love to drink piss with a thimble of alcohol poured in! So you think they drop the camels in or is there a piss platform above the monstrosity tank?

    Do I really want to make a blonde ale?

    My last brew was a blonde...go vanilla blonde with Willamette hops. It's pretty good once the aging starts to mellow out the vanilla.
