    I'm sure this has probably been covered before, :mug: but I'm about to use my Sabco brew kettle for the first time and I have a question about cleaning it after use. How far do I have to go as far as cleaning and sanitizing? Do I have to take the ball valve and thermometer off the keg and soak...

    Sparger used for aeration

    I usually boil up a 2 gallon wort and add 3 gallons of water to bring up to 5 gallons. I was thinking of using a Phil's Sparger to add the three gallons of water as a way of aerating the added water. Has anyone tried this ? Do you think it would be helpful?
