Irish Red Ale St Fuad's Irish Red

I believe the consensus is generally to not modify the beer, as it messes with the malt/hops balance. It will simply be lighter, more quaffable beer!

Ha Reno that looks epic! You gotta let us know how that turns out. And thanks for the link duck, that looks pretty spot on for what I'm looking for. This beer is gonna get punk'd.

    8,800 pennies

I thought I remember learning something to the effect of "Legally, every type of American currency must be accepted." Though obviously that isn't enforced at all.

    Dogfish Head Punkin Ale?

So I'm drinking a Dogfish Head Punkin Ale, and enjoying it quite a bit, even though it's August :cross:. It seems close to the time when brewing such a beer would be appropriate. After a half-assed search, I did not find any existing recipes. So can anybody help me out here? The label...

    Any bicycle riders out there?

I just did the craigslist route after riding a hybrid bike for a year. I got an old fixed up bianchi for 200 bucks and it was worth it. riding is a lot more enjoyable and its fun to tinker around with as well.

    Stad Is Going To Portland!

Eugene and Corvallis are big college towns, so you may have luck stopping in somewhere there. Like farmbrewernw said, block 15 in Corvallis is pretty dank. Portland has everything and just about everyone.

    Simcoe/Amarillo Pale Ale

So possibly move the flameout addition to 10min? Sounds pretty solid. I don't completely understand what effect different additions at different times have, except for the basic bittering vs flavor/aroma. I'm excited for this brew.

    Simcoe/Amarillo Pale Ale

This is my first recipe. I've been curious about these hops and have wanted to make a nice light, hoppy beer for the spring/summer. What do you guys think? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks. Simcoe/Amarillo Pale Ale 10-A American Pale Ale Size: 4.76 gal Efficiency: 75.0%...

I brewed last Friday and didn't see any signs of fermentation until Sunday night. I almost got worried but remembered to RDWHAHB and all is well :mug:
