Dual use of 30 AMP outlet

A little late to this party but have a similar question but thinking of going a different route. I have a 30amp dedicated dryer plug for my control panel. Can I wire the mini split to a dryer plug and use the same outlet? Would mean only one plugged in at a time and the majority of the time it...

    Why GFCI breaker?

nvm i think after thinking about it I got it. Since there is no GFCI between the breaker and brew panel it is needed. Not like a receptacle and regular outlets.

    Why GFCI breaker?

I am adding a sub panel to my brew room. Having an electrician come over to hook up but did all the manual cable pulls, etc. I had a 30A GFCI in my old house but it does not work with my sub panel and having a hard time finding one. I guess my question is why do I need one? If I have a sub...

    BIAB with heating element question

Going to order a bag from Wilser. However, for those of you with a heating element in yours, how did you 1. Measure the length of the bag? 2. Keep the bag from hitting the element? Want to get one for my 15 gallon kettle but worried about the heating element.

    Attempting to wash yeast.

I have been wanting to harvest yeast for a while now. My last brew I emptied the trub, yeast and beer from the conical. Let it sit in the fridge for about 3 weeks now and wanted to start harvesting. However I do not see the distinct line of yeast (Or the three lines everyone talks about...

    3d Printed Stir Plate

What more information can I add? These were my thoughts. 12v adapter to a toggle switch to a potentiometer to a CPU Case fan. On the fan would house the magnets to make them spin. My thought was to custom print a case for it but wanted to make sure the power wouldn't melt the 3d printed case...

    3d Printed Stir Plate

Starting to do a DIY Stir plate build. When looking at powering it I was curious if it would be safe and ok to use? Thought I would run it by you here to see if anyone might know if it is safe or not.

    Yeast separation and trub

This last batch I tried something a bit different with my conical. After cooling to 70 I poured into the fermenter like normal, except instead of throwing the yeast in right away I waited about 30 minutes to an hour. This let some of that sediment that made it into the fermenter settle to the...
