    Will this work for bottling?

Ok, thank you! So I should let it continue to sit for 60 days, then add sorbate + my juice to sweeten? Should I add pectic enzyme now, later, ever? After this batch I can try to do sweet carbonated cider, but this one I just want to have sweet cider.

    Will this work for bottling?

I have fermented it for 3 weeks now, but it is still not clear. Do I just wait for it until it is?

    Will this work for bottling?

Ok, I will add it before I add juice. I just want flavor, carbonation is not a priority yet, each batch is one extra step for me to try! Thank you I will look at it. Sometimes with my English it can be hard to understand it all.

    Will this work for bottling?

Hi all, I am making my cider (juice, cider yeast, nothing else). I have had it sit for about 18 days now, and I am a little lost what next to do. I want to add juice/fruit to it. I do not have hydrometer (I am going to buy next time I am at the shop) so no readings. Would this be ok, you think...

    Adding fruit to cider

Ok, I understand now. Sometimes my English fails me. I think I have found the cooler pasteurizing post, so I will try this method. Thank you, a lot.

    Adding fruit to cider

I might not understand you right, but why should I pasteurize? Stabilizing is hard for me, I do not have potassium sorbate and it is hard to get easily in my country, just not many places with it, so I think your method might be good for me to try. So I would bottle with the fruit flavor...

    Adding fruit to cider

Thanks everyone, so this is my plan, maybe. I'm doing a small batch of cider right now, I just finished 2 large ones and wanted this to be for the experiment reasons. Only 10 liter. I will let me current batch sit for some days more, then add raspberries (or mango, I have not picked yet) frozen...

    Adding fruit to cider

Ok, so, for example, I will get some frozen raspberries, mash them up a little, then add in at the end of primary and let it sit another couple weeks then I can bottle? Is it possible that the fruit will mold or rot? And last question - will it make flavor sweet or dry? I want a sweeter cider.

    Adding fruit to cider

I think frozen, fresh or fruit juice would be most likely. I assume to add after primary is complete?

    Adding fruit to cider

Hi everyone. I have a general question, I want to learn some of your ideas/technique for adding fruit and fruit flavor to the cider you make. I have a very basic batch that is maybe 3/4ths done, apple juice, yeast and that is it. But I want to add fruit flavor, like mango, raspberry, whatever...

Hello, I made a thread yesterday about this question but now it is not here and I am redirected to a unrelated thread, so maybe it is a mistake and I will ask again. Sorry if there is mistake for this. I made my second batch of cider, using apple juice, brown sugar and champagne yeast (I do not...

    Second try

Hello. A few months ago I posted on here for my first time making the cider, saying how it went badly. I moved so I could not try again until now, and wanted to give update and ask some question. I was maybe to complex last time, and it failed because of that. So this time I decide to do it...

    First time experiment

Update: My worries became too big so I looked inside, it was covered with white mold, and yes it was mold. So something did wrong. A lot of homebrew equipment, like special yeast and things of this, we can not get very easy here. So we want to do it simple, traditional. Please help.

    First time experiment

Hi everyone. My wife and I are trying our first cider brew. I am Polish so I am sorry if there are English problems. Our plan is not to make the best taste cider now, but to make it right and then experiment more with taste. - We got a press and grinder and fermenting barrel from family...
