Does anyone have a really nutty tasting bitter or brown ale recipe?

Does anyone have a really nutty tasting bitter or brown ale recipe?

Yes, my last ale was a barleywine with some 20% maize-corn by weight + a pound of molasses. It was awesome, but the head barely wanted to even form.

Does anyone have a really nutty tasting bitter or brown ale recipe?

My first ever homebrew was a brown ale BIAB that had a really nutty flavor that I liked, but I haven't made a beer since that matched it in it's nutty glory. Side question from a beginner - How I get good head retention? I have been having trouble recently with this, with both an ale and a...

    Should I get a new CO2 regulator?

...or should I just replace the gauges on the one I already have? On a side note, how does one check for leaks?, spray bottle and starsan? This is my current regulator. I've been away from homebrewing for a while, and I'm just now trying to get back into it. I've had several problems to deal...

    Mock-cider beer

My brother comes home from college this christmas, which is like 6 months away- but I'm impatient. At least for experimenting. He doesn't like beer. He doesn't dislike it either but is apathetic to it. He think its bitter and tastes not as good as other things he likes to drink for various other...

    Fruit Beer Kumquat "Saison"

Where do you live? Just curious since I have been interested in some backyard citrus of my own. I'm in a bit of a chilly place, so any potential options are limited.

Does my beer have a gucher infection?

I made a 1 gallon batch of a rye stout and it was in secondary between 1 and 2 weeks. At bottling time I was nervous since it had been a while, so I looked for the rest of my yeast packet. I couldn't find it, but was sure it would be fine since it wasn't tooo overly long in secondary in my mind...

    Sanitizing

Since I'm very cheap, I use bleach and then rinse with water. I don't think this is the best practice but I'm poor as a very poor person and it doesn't seem like a big deal to me, and my water is free from microbes since it still has a lot of chlorine when it makes it to my house. I will say...

    Distilling to get non-alcoholic beer?

I cant imagine anything good coming out of heating finished beer to near boiling to drive off the alcohol. As for vacuum, i dont think you would have the money to afford such equipment, especually if you only want a bit of non-alcholic beer. If you are going for negligible alcohol I think there...
