    Brew Boss Systems

If you set your boil to 208 instead of 220 or 212 it’ll automatically start the timer when it reaches that and skip the boil detect prompt.

    Brew Boss Systems

Did you ever hear back? He’s been pretty good about answering emails as after 4 years of use I finally had a couple hardware issues.

    A simple digital Taplist solution

I love this. I have a couple questions. How can I rearrange taps that have already been added and rename taps to not have a number if it’s a bottle or if it’s a uKeg or the like instead of on the keezer? Also, any update on potential Brewfather integration?

    Simple DIY Keg Management

So.. I've been considering doing something like this for a while. I found your Thingiverse before I found this thread. Do you have instructions on the whole process or did you just use the instructions from the original maker? I have a tight keezer that I put 5 kegs in and would like to try and...

    Brew Boss Systems

I get great efficiency. Most beers are 78-82% efficiency. Some higher alcohol or roasty beers drop down to 72-76%. Also… about the feet on the COFI… I have just under 40 batches on my brew-boss system and I’m still using the original red silicone feet… 🤞🏼 This past weekend I did have to wait to...

Flite - Keg Level, Temperature, and Pressure Sensor

Pretty much, but it does harbor bacteria and stuff pretty good which is why they always say PLA is "not food safe". It would be best to resin print these parts or coat them somehow to be perfectly safe. I am interested in this project, I'm going to have to sit down and see how much it's...

New house - clearance from my wife for brew room - vent or steam condenser

Currently electric brewing outdoors (patio), but I have been considering the same for when I move. My main issue with using the steam condenser is you still have to open it for hop drops & you can't use it with an immersion chiller which is my chiller of choice. So currently I am leaning towards...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

So... I figured out the issue. See above someone posted previously their screen. That is V1.0.0. Currently the ones on sale are V1.1.0. See my image below. The new version flipped the screen 180 (which also flips the offset of the screen on the board).

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

The one that is listed on the TiltBridge documentation. TiltBridge Case - D32 Pro /w TFT by Thorrak For the screen to be centered and in the correct orientation the ribbon would be at the top which can't fit because the screen sits pretty much right on the edge of the case. I am currently...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Let me clarify the above. Putting the screen in the location set forth by the bottom of the enclosure, if you put it in the correct orientation it won't actually fit because of the ribbon cable. If you flip the screen it fits without issue but, then not only is the orientation flipped but...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

So, I've printed the D32 Pro enclosure (6 of them to be exact, for myself and club members). But when trying to get all the parts in the enclosure if I center the screen then it doesn't line up with the top, but if I try to line the screen up with the top I can't get it in the bottom because of...

Feeler for 20 gallon brew boss system

GLWS. I love my 15 gallon Brew-Boss system and maybe in the future will also get a 20 gallon kettle and basket just so I have both options. Someone is going to get a pretty good deal.

Spike Solo vs. Brew Boss vs. BrewTools B80

The 15 Gallon kettle is perfect for 5 gallon batches and the occasional 10 gallon batch. If you are going to be doing 10 gallon batches all the time I would go with the 20 Gallon kettle, but I don't think they recommend brewing 5 gallon batches in the 20 gallon kettle.

    Custom Jockey Box build

How much did you end up spending? Typically I see these coils get pretty expensive and most times it's cheaper just to buy a ready made jockey box. I've even seen some that just use regular pvc hose inside the cooler instead of coils or plates because of the expense.

Spike Solo vs. Brew Boss vs. BrewTools B80

I have had the Brew-Boss setup for about 2 years now and I wouldn't go any other way. It speaks to your through the tablet which you can turn off or just turn the volume down/off. Spike Solo is nice, but it really doesn't impress me in the whole. If I were going with their kettle/basket and...
