Raison D'etre works faster than prune juice

SN's fall brew "Tumbler" had the same effect on me and a buddy. We both drank it on tap at the local bar after work and gotten woken up having to run to the ****ter. I still won't touch that beer or get anything on tap that that place.

Yup same here. Im doing a brisket overnight in the smoker and should be starting the fire soon. Once the meat goes on, I'll probably light up a stick and grab some scotch. I call it "Ryan time"

    Cigar thread

Yup, totally agree with you. I don't smoke cigars everyday so when I do I don't mind spending an extra couple of bucks to have what I really enjoy.

    Cigar thread

Love me a good cigar. About once a week the guys from work get together after shift and have "cigar and scotch night" I usually smoke R&J or Gloria Cubana but I picked up a 5 pack of some Cohibas and tried one last night. Not too bad.

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Did some country style ribs last night for dinner and in about 4 hours I'll throw 13 lbs of brisket for a BBQ tomorrow. On a side note. Last weekend I killed my thermometer when I left it in a pork butt in the smokers on the bottom rack... Oops. So today I ordered myself a thermapen. I figure...

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Had a great weekend. My first brisket came out awesome. I separated the point and flat because I couldn't fit the 13 lb whole thing on one rack on my 18.5 WSM. Both came out great and everyone (including my wife who said she didn't like brisket) loved it. Between the food, the company and the...

    Beginner Smoker?

Well I'll have to disagree with atutp and kapbrew there. Saturday night was pretty breezy here when I fired the smoker up at 1AM. I got the smoker setup and going around 215 per the gauge. I check it before going to bed at 230 and it was fine. I didn't get up till 8AM and the temp was right...
